if you want all the pics, I must urge you to go to my flickr album.....I did put many pics in this entry though....
First we went to CT and hung with my family - which was fine and dandy. We had a nice time and everyone loved the Chef! We stayed in seperate rooms in my parents house - which I totally expected. We went on a tour of Yale which was really neat. Yale has beautiful buildings and courtyards.
After that we went to NYC....

where we did horse n buggy ride in Central Park - which is what I yearned to do.

It was really nice and relaxing. Then we walked around the city and had a nice time. The hotel we stayed in was really cute too. It was called Moderne and was near Times Square.

We went to dinner at Cafe Baloud - which was a super fancy restaurant where we had the "tasting menu" and about a million courses....

The next day it was raining and awful out

- we had to run around the city in that weather too...we saw "Wedding Singer" on Broadway which was really good.
Then we went to Baltimore. We stayed with Chef's Cousin Susie...who was really nice. She had a dinner for us and invited a bunch of the cousins and aunts and uncles....and the report was the "jill is a keeper" from his family. We then saw a bunch of Chef's friends - one of whom just had a baby. We went to the Aquarium and Inner Harbor...all very nice.

Then we went to my cousin's Bat Mitzvah in Columbia, MD. The Hilton hotel was nice and the bed was wonderful. My dad wanted to get us a room with two double beds. That was the laughing joke among his cousins. We ended up in a room with a king size bed and my parents treated us to the hotel room. I had a cold by then (from rainy NYC) and was feeling pretty wretched.
The Bat Mitzvah was fun - the kids are wild. We hung with Ari and Heather (married cousins) mostly and Chef and Ari got along wonderfully. Which is super duper since Ari is moving here soon.
On Sunday we went to Zaimee's and hung with her and Sonny in their new condo. The condo is really cute and great for a newlywed couple with a baby on the way. Zaims looks so cute with the preggers belly. I didn't take any pics (boo) as we had less than a day togehter. We all were pretty beat too.....but it was great to see her. I desperately want to go visit her after the lil baby is born (and her mom and inlaws aren't there as that will be super cramped). I will try to hook her up with a girl's weekend with spas and whatnot...the boys can watch the baby that weekend;) Maybe October....
Anyways..that was my trip....
